🌱 Understanding the Ginger Plant
Ginger is a rhizome, which means it grows from underground stems that spread horizontally. Each “hand” or “finger” of ginger contains buds, and each bud can become a new plant. With warmth, light, and moisture, ginger will send up leafy shoots and expand its roots, forming new pieces you can harvest later.

Feed your ginger every few weeks with a gentle organic fertilizer or liquid seaweed. As leaves mature, they reach about two feet tall, creating lush tropical foliage.
